Frequently Asked Questions about the Indian Tribe Shirts Q-1 How long does it take for me to get the shirts? (or - "If I order them today, can I get them for this week's or tomorrow's campout?") A-1 Order your shirts as early as possible. Screenprinting is a timely process. The turnaround time may occasionally be under 2 weeks during periods where we do not have a heavy printing workload (EARLY in the tribe season August to mid-September), however, turnaround time can be as much as 3-6 weeks depending upon our workload with the YMCA groups as well as with our other clients. Please plan ahead. Near the end of September and during October is our busiest time of the year, and will be the longest turnaround time for having your shirts printed. Q-2 My Tribe's Logos from last year are not in your current logo selection - why? and can I get my shirt with the same logo as my tribe had last year? A-2 The logos have been updated to include the most popular ones from previous years, and some new ones for added selection. The logos that have not been popular or were of poor quality have been removed from the list, as well as some that the YMCA asked us to remove because of changes in future programs. If you would like to keep a logo that is not on the current selection, we can do these with a screen preparation charge of $10 added to the order - since we are not keeping those logos in our currently available screen library. You can minimize cost-per-shirt by ordering for multiple people on the same order.Q-3 What are the shirts made of? A-3 Tees and Things uses the Jerzees Cotton and 50/50, Hanes Heavyweight 50/50 and cotton lines of tshirts for the tribe shirts. When Hanes is not available, we will use another brand of similar color and quality.Q-4. How much will the shirts shrink? A-4. When washed by the instructions on the shirt label, there should be minimal shrinking, with the 50/50 shirts. The cotton shirts are marketed as being "pre-shrunk" - but please be aware that they WILL shrink a little after washing & drying. Always read the label instructions before washing to maintain your shirt size. Q-5 Our tribe kids want to have their own artwork put onto their shirts. What do we need to provide? A-5 Great! We love to see how artistic the kids can be. The art needs to be in black ink, on a white sheet of (8.5"x 11") paper or on a sheet of transparency film. If the artwork is appropriate, we may ask the artist for permission to make the art available to other tribes for use on shirts, as well! A $10 screen preparation charge will apply to orders with logos that are not from our list of available logos. Q-6 I've received a call that my shirts are ready.... Where do I go to pick them up? A-6 - You can request that we ship them via US Mail. We generally use US PRiority Mail for 1-2 day deliveries from when we ship your order. Q-7 What if I want a different kind of shirt? Do you have sweatshirts or tye-dye shirts available? A-7 - Please call for pricing on specialy products. Tye-dye short-sleeve t-shirts with your tribe names and logos on them start at $18.00ea for youth and adult S-XL sizes. $19 for XXL. Q-8 How are the youth shirts sized? A-8 Youth Small is a size (6-8), youth Medium is a size (10-12), and youth large is a size (14-16). Unless your child is unusually small, we highly discourage getting youth-small tshirts, as they will most likely outgrow the shirts very quickly. Q-9 I'm new to a tribe, and they had Tye-Dye shirts... How do I order them? A-9 When placing your online order, select "Tye Dye" when choosing your shirt color. In the comments field, you'll need to enter the style number and style name of the tye-dye shirt(s) that were ordered previously. If you have any questions that we have not been able to answer on this page, please feel free to contact us. Open communication is paramount to a healthy relationship between a customer and a vendor.
